Modern & full-view glass
Aluminum and glass full-view doors for a modern look, or to open a kitchen or patio to the outdoors. We do them all the time.
Tune-ups & maintenance
Noisy, shaky or slow? New rollers and bottom seals, lubrication, balance and safety-sensor checks so an old door runs like new.

Please don't force a door with a broken spring or a loose cable, and don't try to adjust the springs yourself. They hold a lot of tension. Leave the door where it is and call.

Superior Door Inc is a family-owned, family-operated garage door company based on Simmons Drive in East Flat Rock. Jimmy and his son Avery do the work themselves: they quote the job, order the door, install it and show you how everything works.

Common questions
How do I know if my spring is broken?
Common signs: you heard a loud bang from the garage, the door feels very heavy or won't lift more than a few inches, the opener strains and stops, or you can see a gap in the coil of the spring above the door. If you see any of these, stop using the opener and give us a call.
Should I repair or replace my door?
Most problems (springs, cables, rollers, seals, openers, even some dents) can be repaired. If the door is badly damaged, very old or you just want a new look, we'll show you options and give you a free estimate. We'll tell you honestly which makes more sense.
Can you set up my opener's app and remotes?
Yes. When we install or repair an opener we program the remotes and keypads, help set up the app on your phone if your opener has one, and walk you through how it all works.
Do you install full-view glass or custom doors?
Yes. We install modern full-view aluminum and glass doors, wood-look and carriage-house styles, and we've even put a clear garage door into a kitchen wall to open it onto a patio. Tell us what you have in mind.
